Alfred was a former Chief of Appeals, Senior Appeals Officer, Senior Rulings Officer with Revenue Canada Taxation (nowadays, Canada Revenue Agency).  He was also a former Tax Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a member of the Taxation Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Shue Yan University for Hong Kong Taxation and Advanced Hong Kong Taxation, an external examiner of Institute of Vocational Education, and a committee member of Examination and Accreditations Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians.

 

Alfred obtained his Chartered Accountant (nowadays, CPA) designation in Canada in 1988 and moved to Hong Kong in 1995.  He wrote articles for Economic Times and was interviewed by Jiuchik, one of the largest circulations on employment in Hong Kong.  He has been Honorary Treasurer on various charity organizations and has been a committee member of the Social Services Division of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Union Hong Kong Limited.
